Trustees/Custodians.  Understanding that our clients may have long-standing relationships with their existing Broker, Private Banker, Advisor, Trustee or Custodian, we can readily arrange to advise to your account without having to transfer either the account or assets.

For those clients who would like to establish an independent relationship with Braintree Capital, we are on both Pershing Advisor Solutions and Charles Schwab Institutional custodial platforms.  Pershing, a member of SIPC, is the largest clearing firm in the world and is owned by Bank of New York Mellon, the largest custodian of customer securities at $22.4 trillion.  Charles Schwab Institutional, a division of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc, has $540 billion assets under management (9/30/08).

When your account resides with any custodian, so does the physical custody of your assets.  Under no circumstances will Braintree Capital Partners take physical custody of any client’s assets.

Independent Valuation Services.  To assure that the prices of the securities held in your portfolio are independently verified, we utilize either Standard & Poor’s Evaluation Services, a division of the McGraw-Hill Companies, or Interactive Data (NYSE: IDC).  We review the pricing in the portfolios monthly to ensure that valuations reflect the current market.

Broker/Dealers.  With accounts at over 30 broker-dealers, from national firms to regional firms and boutiques, we strive to make certain that we see a comprehensive array of municipal bond offerings in both the primary and secondary markets.  This gives us a wide selection of investment choices for our clients' portfolios as well as liquidity for their holdings.

Counsel.  Foley Hoag LLP is a leading national law firm with a large practice advising the investment community and family offices.  Foley offers ongoing legal advice in addition to preparing all of our legal documentation and filings with state and federal regulatory agencies.

Compliance Adviser.  We engage ACA Compliance Group, LLC in Washington, D.C. for legal advice on best disclosure and compliance practices.

Independent Portfolio Auditor.  Wolf & Company, P.C.  Based in Boston, Massachusetts, Wolf is a leading regional public accounting firm, widely respected for its accounting and audit practice concerning financial service firms.  Its accountants provide Braintree Capital with ongoing tax advice as well as its annual audit.
